Yes! We are working together with Manjushri Education Service in Dharamsala, and through them, our books can be shipped within India, Nepal, and Ladakh, or purchased in person at their library in Dharamsala.
At this stage, we also have stock in Switzerland, the US, and Australia, where we can ship domestically with local shipping fees.
For other countries, we currently ship directly from Australia. However, we are actively seeking local partners, individuals, or stores to stock our products so readers can avoid higher international shipping costs.
If you’re ordering from elsewhere, please get in touch! We’d love to bring our products to more countries - we just need to ensure there’s enough interest before expanding our shipping options.
Our bilingual books are designed with young children in mind, particularly preschoolers and early primary school children who are just beginning their reading and language journey. However, they are not limited to a specific age group. Parents, grandparents, teachers, and even adult learners who are starting to learn Tibetan or English for the first time will find them valuable. We like to say our products are “ageless,” because language and culture can be learned and enjoyed at any stage of life.
Not at all! While our books are created with the Tibetan diaspora in mind, they are also meant for anyone who is curious about Tibetan culture, language, and heritage. Many non-Tibetan families use our books to expose their children to new languages and worldviews. Educators in multicultural classrooms also use them as teaching resources. So, whether you’re Tibetan, married into a Tibetan family, or simply interested in raising bilingual children, our books are for you.
Absolutely. Our first titles are just the beginning. We are already working on additional picture books, cultural stories, and mindfulness-themed titles that celebrate Tibetan heritage while remaining relatable for children growing up around the world. Writing these books has been a lifelong dream, and now that the journey has started, we plan to keep going. By following us on social media you can stay updated on new releases.
Yes, we welcome bulk orders from schools, libraries, bookstores, and Tibetan community organizations. If you are a retailer or educator interested in stocking our books and posters, please contact us directly through our website or email. We offer special pricing for bulk purchases to help make our resources more accessible to classrooms and communities.
At the moment, our focus is on physical books and posters because we believe children benefit greatly from the tactile experience of holding and engaging with real materials. That said, we are exploring digital formats in the future, especially for families living in areas where shipping can be challenging. Please stay tuned — we’re listening to what our readers need.
The mission of Raling Studio is to keep Tibetan language alive for the next generation while supporting children in their English-speaking environments. As a Tibetan mother raising my child in Australia, I know first-hand how important it is to nurture both languages side by side. Bilingual learning strengthens children’s cognitive skills, identity, and sense of belonging. By presenting Tibetan and English together, our books help children move confidently between two worlds while staying connected to their roots.
